Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) is a European Union regulation dating from 18 December 2006. REACH addresses the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment. As the aim of improving the protection of human health and the environment against the risks that may result from chemicals and at the same time promoting the competitiveness of the chemical industry in the European Union. This regulation lays down procedures for collecting and evaluating information on the properties and hazards of substances.

Estimates project that more than 40% of heavy-duty engine repair costs are related to the cooling system. Engine coolant is really a mixture of antifreeze, de-ionized water and additives to keep our engine protected and working well. It’s not just for dissipating energy and keeping cool either; engine coolant ensures that the water in your vehicle’s radiator system does not freeze in winter, or boil and evaporate in summer. Make sure to never mix coolants containing different inhibition technologies and always completely change the coolant during the regular repairs to prevent any engine damage.
